ANADKA ARABBI FALLS
We got up early, had a small pleasant walk to belthangadi hoLe. Having our breakfast and packing some food we boarded a bus to Didupe. This village is around 35kms north-east of Belthangadi. We reached there by 10.00am. The climate was cool, cloudy.
Anadka falls is about 3kms by walk from Didupe. Walking amidst paddy fields we started our walk. Thanks to Varunadeva (God of Rain), as he had taken a break that day. We proceeded to a village Anadka, the path was a bit slippery and crossing the river was not so difficult. With the help of the villagers we were able to get the route to the waterfall. We walked inside the estates and finally reached the spot. The view of the waterfall was amazing. It was unpolluted, undisturbed, not known to many. To capture the beauty into our camera we struggled across the moist slippery rocks & had minor injuries. Nature is always beautiful enough to attract people but also fierceful enough to injure careless people. The water flowing through thick forests & diving into deep ravine was at its purest form. Though it was very cold, we were tempted by the water. We found a suitable place to take bath, enjoyed for some time. Sound of the water, sound by unusual birds added music to our meal. We had a great time spending time in such a dense forest. We returned back to Didupe & reached Belthangadi around 4.30pm.
Since we had enough time, we thought of going to Dharmastala, which is around 20s from Belthangadi. We had a good darshan of lord Manjunatha, had our dinner & left back to bangalore. The bus started at 10.30pm, after a while we were asleep. Our sleep was interrupted by the conductor tapping at us at 5.30am at bangalore. The two-day trip ended & we had to return back and continue our normal city life.
